In this episode, Gabby and I talk about her beginnings with English teaching and what she is currently doing today.
She also talks about a book that has really helped her become more productive and focused each and every day, call The Miracle Morning by Hal Elrod.
Gabby shares great insight on ways English learners can use the lessons taught in this book to become more dedicated English learners.
So listen and learn!
The Main Points
- Prioritize your most important tasks and get them done EARLY, before other things/people/distractions get in your way
- Be yourself! Don’t try to make your English look fancy. Speak “real” English!
- Finding a balance with your to-do list between not “overdoing” it yet challenging yourself enough to keep moving forward.
Going strong – to be functioning well, at a good speed; in good condition
Make fun of – to ridicule someone or something
Moving On – to continue moving; to travel on; to move along From Scratch
Stay on track – to continue on the same course, not get distracted
Overdo – to do too much of something, more than you should have done
